Before the pandemic, and before moving to Vancouver, I spent two years coordinating Queen Mary University's Enterprise Programme. I'd recently completed a Year Here Fellowship, learning the fundamentals of designing for social impact and building social enterprises. Supporting Queen Mary students to do just that was an exciting and rewarding way to build on this skill set.

Our Enterprise offering included an incubator programme, hack weekends, funding streams, learning workshops, networking events, and tailored business advice. I designed and delivered across these streams, building a network of university and external partners in the process and increasing participation across the board.
